Britney "Rehab" Spears Still Dominating the Searches

I have been running this Top 10 Searches since starting this blog last week and one thing I have learned is the biggest searches seem to fall under 3 main categories Sex,Celebrities and Web 2 stuff (Social Networking). It's something that you may want to consider if you plan on making any money online. When thinking about what markets to target it is definately worth keeping tabs on the latest news even if it doesn't interest you that people like Britney Spears are falling apart and going into rehab or that Bridget Moynahan has announced she is pregnant to her ex. I couldn't give a crap myself but it is a money making opportunity if you are serious about this then you have to take note of what is popular and by doing this section I hope it is helping to give you some ideas.

As you would expect fallen gone mad pop princess Britney Shears ooops I mean Britney Spears features heavily in the top search terms today. Not really much that stands out to me Apples I Phone seems to be getting some searches. As well asDaniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and his latest role in Equus.

Googe did google really mis-spell its own name?

Looking through today's top search terms we can clearly see the people who use dogpile and metacrawler (where wordtracker gets its info from) are a bunch of mucky pups I checked out hentai not knowing what it was, no really I didn't. Basically its Japanese porn.
Another interesting but non sexual related one was free e-cards bit late as valentines day was 2 days ago makes me think how up to date the wordtracker info is. Something worth thinking about is the seasonal terms like valentines day etc seasonal stuff rarely changes so that would be easy to get a site up and optimized for the next holiday related searches like Easter etc.
Also worth noting is the American idol search there are some big programmes on TV so how easy would it be to make some money from pay per click on these kind of searches.
Good to see that my new best friend Tammy Nyp is going strong on technorati at number 2 ;-).
The Googe term on technorati caught my eye as I thought that would be a hell of a lot of people to mis-spell google, as it turns out on valentines day google had its seasonal image up and many people thought they had messed up and mis-spelled their own name how funny would that have been but what really happened was it had an image of a strawberry with the stalk as the L. I thought it was funny anyway so I am going to go back to my dark corner and laugh about it to myself.

Not too much has changed today with wordtracker and yahoo so I searched some of the technorati terms, for those of you who like something a bit risque in a sexual way check the number 10 term on technorati tammy nyp the story is she filmed herself giving oral sex to her boyfriend on her mobile phone and then phone was stolen unfortunately for her it ended up all over the web, all I can say is you go girl. I would imagine quite a few people have made some money off that term.
